Important Travel Notice for Clinic Patients

Details below:

The bridge over the River Trent at Wolseley Bridge, a 1955 structure, is about to undergo a major refurbishment.

These upcoming roadworks on the A51 at Wolseley Canal Bridge, Little Haywood, start on 7 July 2026 and run for approximately 20 weeks.

What to expect:

• Temporary traffic lights on the A51 from 6 July to 20 November 2026
• Bishton Lane closed (from the A51 junction, heading north – 60 metres) from 6 July to 18 December 2026

Diversion for Bishton Lane:

• From the north: turn east onto Bellamour Lane – 200m before Bishton Lane, then right onto Bishton Lane
• From the south: reverse of the above

Access to homes and businesses along the closed section will be maintained throughout.
